This device gives repeatable results so far. It always works so far. User reviews informed me that less expensive/robust devices may give erratic/untrustworthy readings because of design/construction weaknesses/insufficiencies and algorithmic/calibration insufficiencies. Wrong and erratic readings from a complex device of this type are useless. Delivery to my house was excellent.

Before buying this oximeter, I tried two different $35 models. They were toys, had numerous problems, primarily unreliability and inaccuracy. I am very pleased with the Nonin 9590. It works quickly, accurately, and reliably.

I received a direct phone call when two pulse oximeters I ordered were unavailable in the color I selected.  I very much appreciated being able to ok another color so that I could get the order quickly rather than having the order delayed until a new shipment came in.  Excellent customer service!

Needed an  accurate oximeter. Happy to say this one is just that. Very accurate and consistent. It takes only seconds. It is a basic model,  what I was looking for.  Happy I ended up ordering it. Worth every penny to know I can trust the reading.
Only had it a week so can't say anything about how it will last.
